Its own pages disagree on who posted it, crediting @ofuscabreno on the character's entry and a different account in passing elsewhere, so this record states the date and platform and leaves the creator open until that is settled.
Why it spread
Brands picked it up, which is unusual this far down the roster. Know Your Meme records a Samsung Netherlands version passing two million views and an SSC Napoli version passing 340,000. Wikipedia separately notes that various brands replicated these memes for marketing content, and this is one of the clearest cases.
